Stripe confirmation email

Hi, I usually have customers paying via Paypal but have recently had a Stripe payment. Folksy sent me a message saying I should receive a Stripe confirmation email, but there hasn’t been one. I’ve also checked Junk file and not there either. I know Stripe hold back payments for a week :frowning::roll_eyes: so can’t check account yet. Anyone else had this issue?

Hi Becca,

I haven’t had this issue but I think someone has mentioned in the past that you have to select an option on your Stripe dashboard to get the emails? Not sure exactly what but it might be worth checking.

Yes, I never receive them, but I think that you need to opt-in if you want to have them. You can go to your Stripe dashboard to see the payment.

I can see in my Stripe account that the payment is there. Couldn’t find where to get email alerts, but not too worried now that I know not to expect one. Thanks for your advice.:blush:

If you go to your profile (top right hand corner) on your stripe dashboard and then scroll down to communication preferences you can switch on receiving emails for payments received.
(Because I’ve had a lot of payments through stripe my payout schedule is down to 3 days.)
