Hello everyone, after a 2 year absence I’m back, Yay I have been reading up the advice but cannot find anywhere that mentions tags MATCHING titles. Is this required on Folksy? Thanks in advance.

You can use any word, within reason, that relates to your item, as a tag. The best tags are an accurate description of your item and the times/places/occasions when it might be used. You need to think about the words buyers will use when searching for the item, and although these might be repetitions of the title, they may be something else.

If your tags match phrases in your titles then it will rank you higher in search results. It only really makes a big difference if you are trying to appear higher in very simple search phrases though (ie. ones that return a lot of results).
I gather it doesn’t work in the same way as E? That is a nightmare to understand!
