We’re going to be resurrecting our Press Page soon so you can keep track of every time Folksy or Folksy sellers are featured in magazines, newspapers, podcasts or blogs - or even worn/shared/recommended by a big influencer.

I contacted my local press via their Facebook page and they gave me a phone interview and I then sent photos. Sorry they don’t speicifcally mention Folksy but it is all over my FB page so good enough

I have been in the Withernsea gazette a couple of times, once when I
Won all the handicraft cups possible in a village show and the other time just a photo of me sat behind my table at craft fairs, now I wonder what I did with them, I remember cutting them out of the paper.
My magazine feature came out today, I havn’t received the physical copy yet but have seen the subscribers online version. It’s a 4 page feature in Teddy Bear Times magazine, when i receive the printed copy I will try to photograph and upload it…so exciting for the bears, especially as one of the new ones was given a space to shine.
Thank you Liz, I subscribed for a couple of years when I first started Bearlescent, actually it was a Christmas gift then never got around to reading them (I’m a workaholic lol) so I didn’t renew anymore. It is quite unreal to think I am now one of the many featured makers they have in the magazine, I can’t tell you how excited I was when they asked me lol
I have photographed the feature I received today from Teddy Bear Times Magazine, I havn’t put it on socials yet but have emailed them today to check it is ok to put on IG.
Yes it is a @PooksStudio dolls too. Folksy did well in that edition. Sadly I didn’t know about the feature and so I hadn’t knitted a Forrest of them ready and sold out too quickly! Nice situation to be in, but it would have been nicer to have been better prepared…next year
I think it’s lovely that you didn’t know, it must have been a really nice surprise to see it featured…yes prepare yourself for next time, you had better start now. It does look lovely in the centre and it’s a good sized picture.
