I can’t get it to work. Whenever I click on it, I get a message saying “We’re updating your items to be ready for the new shopfronts. Check back in a minute or two.”
Mine’s working fine. Try again tomorrow and if its still not working by Monday drop support an email. (there won’t be anyone there now so there’s not much point emailing them before monday)
Hopefully it will be working again tomorrow.
Thanks for that, Sasha. I’ve been trying for two days now, with no success, so was beginning to wonder if I was doing something wrong. Will try again tomorrow, as you suggest.
Maybe since your name would be at the front of the alphabet you are acting as a guinea pig for something new whilst those of us down the other end of the alphabet are ok. As the problem has persisted for a few days now definately email support on Monday morning if its not rectified.
There seem to be a couple of things I don’t have access to. On another post, someone mentioned a ‘Meet the Maker’ section, but I can’t find that anywhere.
I was an active seller a while ago, but have only just come back after an absence of about 3 years, so I’m wondering if that’s the reason for these problems, ie. my account is stuck in the pre-updates era.
The ‘Meet the maker’ section is under ‘Profile settings’ and then ‘Biography’.
Hi Kim, and thank you! The ‘Biography’ section is already filled in (from when I was selling on Folksy years ago) but there’s no ‘Meet the Maker’ link on my listings.
You just need to click on your name ‘Rosie’ and it takes you to it…it worked for me!

I know…it’s not obvious. I’m sure most customers don’t think to click there…so never read it…
I click on it when I suspect someone is a non uk seller as they often put their actual location in that bit! Otherwise yeah I don’t bother reading it (hangs head in shame).
