VOTES needed for copy from listing suggestion

Wouldn’t it be Brilliant if we could copy listings from an individual listing instead of having to scroll through the manage listings on our dashboard to find the one we want to copy… just as we can do to Edit… ???

So I went to add it as a suggestion and found it was already suggested in 2012…So the suggestion needs VOTEs… 3 each would be great

Well I’m confused about what the original suggestion said. It said they want to copy an IMAGE !

I like your suggestion though and would add that I would like to Hide a listing from the individual list instead of scrolling through the manage listings.

Think original is oddly worded. Sure they mean listng not image
Hiding …You can do that in edit. Set qty to zero.

Ok I am going to sound dim here but I don’t actually know what it’s about…sorry Joy. When would we need to copy a listing? oh and when I understand it where do we vote please…perhaps my brain isn’t working too well tonight :grinning:is it for listing duplicate items in our shop? I have done that but had to relist the whole thing manually and input all the info again.

Debby Have you really only ever created a listing by using the add new listing option instead of using the copy button and then editing the copy it creates for your new listing ?

I’ve only ever created one listing in 11+ years. Get that first one right, postage, tags etc and then just change the things specific to the new piece… description but only the relevant words, tags same, pictures… All my listings have a few common tags, most have the same materials, postage etc…
I don’t believe in reinventing the wheel nor wasting my time entering everything in full and making the same mistakes in each.
The link to vote is in my initial post above.

Bloomin eck Joy I ALWAYS use the ‘add a new listing’ button, I didn’t know there was another way. This afternoon I spent 2 hours photographing then listing my new embroidery. It constantly loses connection with google so I add a little, save then continue. No wonder I spend half my life on this bloomin thing! I have my kits and patterns listed more than once but typed the whole bloody thing out each time ha ha …oh Joy you have no idea how much time you may have saved me in the future :joy::smiley::grin::grinning:I know most of my items are one offs but there may be parts I could use from a previous listing especially if I am making dolls or bears…THANK YOU…I WILL VOTE LOTS

You could vote for the choose collection picture… that would be a most welcome enhancement  otherwise save them for later

Just added my 3 votes - like others, I only realised you could copy at all a few weeks ago. This suggestion would be even better. Thanks Joy.
