I am trying to get through The Shepherds Crown - By Terry Pratchett. Struggling, even though I am a big big fan, I know it is his last publish Discworld novel.

And yes, it is young adult. But I never grew up.

Also have some Christopher Hitchens on the go.

Finders Keepers by Stephen King- engrossing.

I have just finished the whole Drenai series by David Gemmell and am about to start Neil Gaiman’s Ocean at the end of the lane, in an actual hard copy book for a change

Just discovered Chris Stewart and reading his Driving Over Lemons. First in his series about when he and his wife moved to a remote area of Spain in the 1990s. Chris was originally the drummer with Genesis. It is so well written and amusing! Can recommend it highly!

I read Patrick Gale’s Notes from an Exhbition, it was a slow starter, but I really enjoyed it once I got into it.

I’m now reading The Stranger by Harlan Coben, he’s always a great read, love his style.

I have worked my way through Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, Good Omens and a couple of short story compilations  I’m now putting Tom Holt onto my e-reader. I read a lot whilst waiting for the embroidery machine to finish as I have to sit beside it whilst it’s going or it gets offended and tangles, snaps thread and all sorts of nasty things lol :grinning:

Is tom holt any good? I have never read any of his books

This has got to be the 4th or 5th time I’ve read them now I enjoyed them that much. They’re a bit different to what I normally read, but there’s still lots of magic and they can be quite funny  and a little bit odd :expressionless: lol

I might have to try his books. I do have a pile building up of books I need to read. But I don’t mind of it gets a bit taller. Lol.

I’m reading another Tana French- Faithful Place

I’m reading The Improbability of Love by Hannah Rothschild, and it’s also the Waterstones book of the month. It’s really quirky and not about love hardly but of a long lost painting and it’s history of a few hundred years and all the crazy art world people that want it. It’s also just been shortlisted for the Bailey’s Women’s Prize for fiction. It’s not normally the kind of novel that I would read but I’m so glad I am!
