This cross stitch version of Van Gogh’s starry night has been my lockdown project. I started it last March and may even finish it this March
What projects have you been working on?

That’s amazing!
I’ve been knitting during the lock downs - I don’t normally do big projects and just stick to hats and the like but this lock down I’ve already completed a jumper/ tunic for myself and I’m now working on a jumper for the OH.
I made a crochet baby bonnet for one of my best friends a couple of weeks ago. She has just had a baby boy - it must feel quite lonely having a baby in lockdown and I am desperate to go and visit. A delivered gift will have to do for now! I realised that I didn’t actually take a photo of the bonnet I made for her, but here is another one I made just after as I liked it so much. Modelled by a crochet alpaca.
I’m working on two cross stitches this year. The first one is the 2021 SAL from Linen and Threads titled Talevera, and the the second one is the 2017 SAL from the same company.
I made this drawing last autumn following Urban Sketchers suggestion to draw what you can see from your window. This is the view from my art studio and there are two houses missing at the end of the road having been destroyed by bombing during WWII so I decided to draw them back in. This piece took me six weeks to complete.
This is my first attempt at free motion embroidery. I have made this for my SIL. I have enjoyed making this so hoping to get some commissions to do some more, if interested just message me.
Ooh I have actually made something for a gift…rarely make anything unless it’s for my shop but my daughter loved my new rabbits so I’ve knitted her one for Easter…she can’t eat chocolate (cocoa solids)…but can eat milky bar buttons (white) I really feel for her, a life without chocolate, but never mind I can eat hers …she is 32 and will be getting milky bars for Easter
I made this for my mum and dad’s Diamond wedding anniversary yesterday and am now planning to make some for my shop.
A lovely keepsake x
