What should I do next - Advice please

Glad you got your refund, but a shame you had such a runaround. Thankfully, this kind of thing is rare in my experience of buying on Folksy. If it really is a scam, shouldn’t they be named and shamed here? I am looking to buy some candles and don’t want to fall foul of this shop! Maybe it’s against Folksy rules though?

I think it was because she asked the forum for help regarding her shop that drew me to her shop. I don’t know if it was a scam, the lesson is be careful. To be fair I have as yet no sales so no feedback, but if I knew how to put a link to my FB site (I dont sell there just show my babyknits and try to promote my Folksy shop) My sales are on eBay and I have 100% feedback but I cant link that.(though I think if you were to google my shop name or my name it would show all the places I sell ) The majority of us on Folksy are honest, if we say we will do something we do it, if there is a problem we let the buyer know. My advice…if there is feedback then read it. If not a quick google of the name may help.

Hi Geraldine,
I think we may be crossing wires! I simply wanted to know the name of the shop you had issues with. I have now found it through a bit of detective work. I will sadly not be one of their next customers! All the best, Becca😊

Geraldine.
Hi. I am by no means an expert but I think if you go onto the shop appearance on your dashboard and scroll down you can add your url links from social media platforms which will link to Facebook etc. Buyers etc can then link from your shop page to your social media. I don’t really do Facebook trying to concentrate on Instagram at the moment. If you do Instagram etc post your link & other folksy sellers can follow you.

Sorry you had a bad experience. There is really no excuse for bad customer service.
