When I post a link to my Folksy shop on my Facebook page

the little thumbnail photo that shows, is the middle section of my shop banner. It doesn’t really make much sense.
Do you know if there is any way to change what photo will show when you put a link to your shop on Facebook.

There is no option whilst in preview mode to change the thumbnail to something else, just the option to remove the thumbnail completely.

I looked at your FB Page. If you put a link to your shop it will have the logo for your shop. If you put the link for an item it will show a,pic of the item. I noticed you have posted one of the hedgehog and it looks ok.

Yes, that’s what I’m wondering - the link to my shop, only shows a detail of the banner, so it doesn’t really look great. I was wondering if there was any way of changing the picture that the URL of my shop links back to? Maybe even my avatar? I would just like it to be a complete picture, not a part of my banner.

I have exactly the same @thedotterypotter if I put my shop link in a comment.

If I do a new facebook post then I can delete the automated image choices and upload my own picture but it would be nice to have a complete picture if I put my shop link in a comment or new post without having to add my own. The logo would be good instead of the middle of the banner but there isn’t that choice.

I don’t think you can change it. I’ve often wanted to alter it but never found a way. Sometimes I get the middle section of my banner, sometimes I get part of the Folksy logo, and sometimes I get a picture of one of my items. Unfortunately it’s not usually an item I would have chosen. I don’t like it when it picks a Christmas item in the middle of June!!! If anyone figures out a way of doing it, I’d love to know but I’m fairly sure this has been asked before and no-one could do it.
