I made some large sculptures in 2020 with the help of the local college and they suggested jokingly I join the night class.

Good to hear that glass does not require as much puff as we might expect. Never tried it myself.

I really wish I could knit and crochet. My mum tried to teach me but I was hopeless! Iā€™m left handed and so was my mum , but she knitted right handed ( does that make sense?) . The lessons did not go well :joy::joy: and Iā€™ve never come across a left handed knitter with a barrel full of patience to teach me !

Have a look on Instagram, there are quite a few left handed knitters on there who make great reels that you could have a look at, appreciate that isnā€™t the same as having someone physically there to show you though.
I taught myself to crochet last year from watching videos on YouTube, just the basics and Iā€™d never been able to grasp it as a child when my Mum tried to teach me, if I can teach myself anyone can, good luck

Thanks for your reply! Yes I just might have a go on Instagram ā€¦

Iā€™d love to be able to carve wood, I love the feel and smell of wood  xx

I would love to do more art work, painting and mixed media, i also love working with powertex but have boxed it all up in the loft as my sewing room is now full to overflowing .
I also bought a beautiful old spinning wheel about 4 years ago and havnā€™t even tried it yet so i would love to work with that, currently it serves as a piece of furniture in the hall.

I have always wanted to try stained glass, it is so beautiful. I donā€™t expect my hands could take the cutting now.
