Who has a YouTube channel?

Do you use YouTube and have a channel. I find being able to post videos with links back to my shop invaluable. Sometimes I need more than 10 photos so a video is easy.

If you do post your link here and maybe we can increase our subscribers. By following each other helps with being seen.

I subscribed to both of you, will definitely be clicking on those ā€œthumbs upā€ icons, as it helps so much!
Here is mine https://www.youtube.com/@theslothscavern , have left it for a while, but it is in my plans to start adding bits after I move house in July! :relieved:

Yes simple, once you get the hang of it, you need to be patient with uploads but it tells you what to do step by step.

I do have a channel but only ever uploaded 1 video 6 years ago of me sewing a strap, just as a test to see if I could do it. I might try again one day!

I go through phases, sometimes I upload quite a lot others my hands hurt too much (arthritis) so I can’t get the enthusiasm. I do enjoy doing the editing though.

I’ve got one, but I’ve only posted shorts so far! (I basically just post my Instagram Reels!) I really should do more with it - I have all the stuff to do it, just need to get on with it!

I’ve just made a channel and uploaded my first video! No idea how I’m going to get on with it, and I think it’s maybe a bit choppy compared with the gleaming polished vlogs people produce now. My tech is pretty old - a couple of 10-year-old Gopro Hero4s. But it was fun to make, and I hope it will motivate me to take the bike to lots of new places. I’ve given the channel a different name though, as I think I might consider a business name change at some point in the future.

Very I tend to use YouTube studio but also the normal one. You can then post the link to Facebook and Instagram.

Great video - I gave it the thumbs up but I didn’t know how to comment. Maybe I wasn’t logged in (I don’t use YouTube very often so I wasn’t sure)
It looks like such a lovely relaxing thing to do riding your bike and selling your wares. Love that you got to take a ferry ride too!

Thanks Sarah! Yes, I think you have to log in to comment on Youtube. I did get a comment from someone, and I just made a rookie error and replied to it using my old account that I just use for viewing stuff :woman_facepalming:. Need to remember to log out of that one if I’m doing anything to the new account! :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

Thank you!

A funny thing happened yesterday - my dad was talking to someone he barely knows, and he mentioned I made things to sell. She asked him more specifically, and he said I was called the Hermit’s Bothy. He said ā€˜she has a bike’, and the woman said ā€˜I know she does!’, and showed him the earrings she was wearing that she bought off me in Cromarty the other day :joy: What a coincidence!
