Do you use YouTube and have a channel. I find being able to post videos with links back to my shop invaluable. Sometimes I need more than 10 photos so a video is easy.
If you do post your link here and maybe we can increase our subscribers. By following each other helps with being seen.
I subscribed to both of you, will definitely be clicking on those āthumbs upā icons, as it helps so much!
Here is mine https://www.youtube.com/@theslothscavern , have left it for a while, but it is in my plans to start adding bits after I move house in July!
I do have a channel but only ever uploaded 1 video 6 years ago of me sewing a strap, just as a test to see if I could do it. I might try again one day!
I go through phases, sometimes I upload quite a lot others my hands hurt too much (arthritis) so I canāt get the enthusiasm. I do enjoy doing the editing though.
Iāve got one, but Iāve only posted shorts so far! (I basically just post my Instagram Reels!) I really should do more with it - I have all the stuff to do it, just need to get on with it!
Iāve just made a channel and uploaded my first video! No idea how Iām going to get on with it, and I think itās maybe a bit choppy compared with the gleaming polished vlogs people produce now. My tech is pretty old - a couple of 10-year-old Gopro Hero4s. But it was fun to make, and I hope it will motivate me to take the bike to lots of new places. Iāve given the channel a different name though, as I think I might consider a business name change at some point in the future.
Great video - I gave it the thumbs up but I didnāt know how to comment. Maybe I wasnāt logged in (I donāt use YouTube very often so I wasnāt sure)
It looks like such a lovely relaxing thing to do riding your bike and selling your wares. Love that you got to take a ferry ride too!
Thanks Sarah! Yes, I think you have to log in to comment on Youtube. I did get a comment from someone, and I just made a rookie error and replied to it using my old account that I just use for viewing stuff . Need to remember to log out of that one if Iām doing anything to the new account!
A funny thing happened yesterday - my dad was talking to someone he barely knows, and he mentioned I made things to sell. She asked him more specifically, and he said I was called the Hermitās Bothy. He said āshe has a bikeā, and the woman said āI know she does!ā, and showed him the earrings she was wearing that she bought off me in Cromarty the other day What a coincidence!
I logged in but still couldnāt see how to comment, Iāll have to investigate more, lovely video, so nice to share your journey anyhow I subscribed too, look forward to more, I like your dress btw, right up my street that is.
