Perhaps, as has been suggested earlier, if this is making you so upset and angry, then the best course is to discuss it with the Folksy team. I have always found them helpful, as are all the other sellers who have responded to your requests for their views.

As the earrings use printmaking techniques to make, they are relevant to the printmaking category.
Although the text at the top doesn’t specifically mention earrings, this is to give a general idea of what can be found in the section and doesn’t include all possibilities (otherwise every section would have a never ending description). Although 2D works to display on a wall may be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of printmaking, if these techniques have been used to create other kinds of items, we would not exclude them from the category as it is still relevant.
If you feel an item is clearly in a section that isn’t relevant, you can use the report feature to let us know what the issue is, but if no action is taken this is likely because we can understand why the category was chosen.
Sometimes there may be items that don’t exactly fit any category so need to use the closest, other times there are items which could fit multiple categories, and the seller may try listing a few in each relevant category. We do not gatekeep the categories to make sure everything fits a very narrow and specific definition, as long as the item is relevant.
Please also remember that we want the Folksy community to be a friendly and welcoming place. Although sellers may not be specifically called out by name, please consider how you speak to and about other members of our community, and how welcome the seller would feel if they read these posts which contain enough details to clearly identify them without a name.
If there is an issue where you need to specifically mention another seller, please come directly to support rather than posting in public.
