I have tried to use the widget on my facebook page but it doesn’t seem to work properly, it shows just 1 picture and all of the formula which I copied to the page, it looks awful, It is propably my fault. ( I hate technology).

I tried it on my facebook page when folksy first launched it and couldn’t get it to work either, I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve still got the old-style business page or just that I’m not very good with technology.

I followed the instructions given by someone on the old forum in the shop section, maybe you could find the thread over there … it wasn’t too complicated … I made a pretty icon for mine too

I followed the instructions on the folksy blog - although I’ve heard that once facebook pages change to the new layout, the icons won’t be visible any more, so depending on when that is due to happen, it might not be worth the effort of figuring out how to do it.
I’ve tried it too - only one thumbnail picture shows on the fb page, but all come up if you click the link. I also have all the garbage showing and couldn’t work out how to get rid of it.
I’ve also noticed that the images change if you list new items into your shop so may spoil the thread you were trying to create/post. It doesn’t remain at the selection of images you origianally chose.
I’ve also noticed Pinterest now have a widget button, at the top of each board. Couldn’t get that to insert onto Facebook either. Don’t know if it works better on personal websites and blogs.

My facebook has changed to the new layout and I still have a tab for folksy at the top saying “folksy shop” I just don’t have a picture, but then when you scroll down the apps are down the left side and my picture is there.

It looks as though it is not my fault after all then, at least it has made me put a cover photo on my page which I have never done before,that has improved the look. Thanks everyone for replying to the post.
