Will you be on the pc on Xmas day?

Im wondering who is closing their shop for Xmas and if you will actually stay away from the pc for any amount of time over the festive period?
Im going to try to stay away from the 24th and have a nosey around the 27th.
How about you?

No, I try to keep away from it for a few days, although I may check my emails a couple of times a day, just in case. My shop stays open all over the Christmas period, but obviously nothing gets shipped until afterwards, so there’s no real need to monitor it too closely. I have a houseful anyway on Christmas Day/Boxing Day, so the laptop will be put away tomorrow and I’ll just use the phone/tablet to keep an eye on messages.

I am guessing the Post Office isn’t open until Monday, so although I may have a looky looky over the Christmas holidays for Folksy sale notifications ! there is nothing I can do about it, so I am not going to worry. I am going to enjoy my time off and ‘do’ a cross stitch my hubby bought me before I opened a shop here and time became a precious commodity

Post office is closed Monday - official Boxing Day bank holiday so no posting out until Tuesday.

I will inevitably check my pc / emails on Christmas day - for one thing I will probably receive Christmas Greetings from absent friends and family.
If I receive any orders, and I sometimes do over Christmas, I will acknowledge them with the message I will be posting out on Tuesday.
I won’t be making or posting any new glass though, got a houseful.

My shop is staying open and I will check a couple of times a day, but won’t spend long on the computer until hubby goes back to work on Tuesday. Hoping to spend some time on my machines though.

yes, I had sales on Christmas day last year…remember, some people are lonely and use their pc to remain in touch with their friends.

I’ll be the same as Joy. I’ll do a quick check of emails, if there are order let them know the item won’t be posted until tuesday. I’ll check my shop stats.

I’ll have to check in on the craft forum I’m admin on in but don’t expect to be online much just 5 mins in the morning and again before I go to bed.

I’ll leave my shop open.

Thanks for the Post Office info, Joy. We don’t have a PO in our village and it is a 4 mile round cycle to the next village, so that could have been a wasted trip! But judging by the amount of fudge my daughter is in the middle of making, maybe not!

I’ll be checking my emails once or twice a day over the hols, I usually get messages from friends etc so if anything comes through from my shops I’ll see it. :evergreen_tree: :gift:

I’m keeping my shop open over Christmas, but will not be looking on Christmas Day. Will be keeping an eye on things from Boxing Day onwards. I plan to take a couple of weeks off, and have a little pile of personal projects to do. I got some fab wool from my husband for Christmas (only on here would people understand that as a good thing!). I can’t wait to get started but will have no time until Boxing Day. Merry Christmas one and all. :christmas_tree:

My shop will be open and I will be on and off line during the day, family and friends are quite spread out so we use the internet to communicate particularly on Christmas day.
Hope every has a good Christmas what ever you are doing.

Well I did have a Folksy sale on Boxing Day …oh and an enquiry via Facebook on Christmas Day (but I didn’t reply that day as I was a bit busy and I only checked via my phone… the pc was switched off - it was quite surprised !)

Well done you Joy,
The only emails I got, besides family, was the library service saying I had over due books! Library is near to the post office, so I will be cycling over because I couldn’t resist the chocolate fudge my daughter made.
