I like your help in making all my shop items 50% off. Is there a way to do so? So far I found “discount codes” however I am not sure it works.
I think that way I provide a discount code: July2021 and my customers need to place this on their order to receive the 50% off.
Any help is appreciated.

That’s right Marjan. Set up the code then applied at checkout works really well.

Do I need to write it on each item?
No put the code and details in the announcement box.

I had a discount code before Christmas, I had it in my announcements and during that time nobody used it and I had 4 or 5 sales. I am not sure people read the notice - they might find the item they like and never actually visit your shop page. It would be very time consuming to add it to every item but perhaps you could shout about it on social media too.

@KirstyMacdonaldQuilts Shop announcements are shown on every individual listing page too, so I think it’s just a case of people not liking to read.
I would do as you have, and make sure it’s at the top of the announcement, and then mention it on any social media you’re on too.
