A bit gone but hoping not to be forgotten!

Aww, how lovely. The tube looks very familiar! I’m very glad your granddaughter is well now.

I also know what you mean about the phone calls. If they go to my husband my heart sinks .

Have you thought of contacting your local hospital (or the hospital where your granddaughter is) to find out if they have a supportive knitting group? Round here there’s a group that knits and crochets mini socks and hats for premies. Also some little crocheted jellyfish (bet you know what I mean) that can dangle over a cot. Might five you a sense of helping while you don’t feel up to making for your Folksy shop?
Youngsters are resilient and I was reminded that such tiny ones will have no memory of that they have put their parents and grandparents through. Best of luck - do let us know when things look up for you all

Thank you very much Nancy. Yes, I have made hats for premature babies in the past and it’s a great for feeling useful.
My granddaughter is the least traumatised of any of us and you’re right she won’t remember this stint in hospital. So long as she has a syringe plunger and its packet to play with, she’s quite happy at the moment!
