A bit gone but hoping not to be forgotten!

I’m not usually one for sharing life’s ups and downs but with my 10 month old granddaughter in her 9th week at Great Ormond Street Hospital, I’m really struggling with my crochet mojo. I’m loathe to shut up shop as we’re trying to keep some normality in our lives, but am being pretty inactive.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to my loyal supporters amongst the Folksy sellers and to the Folksy team for continuing to bear me in mind for promotion when I do manage to list something. I hope to be back on an even keel before too long.
Chris xx

Really sorry your granddaughter’s going through that, and no wonder it’s affecting your creative energy. Look after yourself for a bit, we’ll still be here xx

So sorry Chris to hear what you wee granddaughter is having to go through, along with all the sorry and stress that you must be going through all the time. Exhausting for you. Just wanted to let you know that I’m sending your granddaughter the biggest hug as well as one for you.

Thank you so much for your lovely messages.
The good thing is that however despondent we feel our granddaughter is nearly always cheery, so visits are uplifting!

Oh goodness, think I know roughly how you feel. My granddaugher was born with a blocked bowel and had to be operated on when she was 3 days old. It was simply AGES before she came home and I used to dread phone calls in case they were bad news. The care she and her parents received (in Australia) was second to none and she’s now a bouncing 17m old. Hope all goes well for you.
