Hi everyone
I had an order to buy a card of mine on 12th December which I sent to the address provided with the order and also the address on the Paypal payment.
The envelope and card has been returned to me this morning with a sticker from the post office saying address unknown.
Has anyone else had this?

Have you googled it to see if you can find it on maps? It could be a sham buy. Some thieves will make small test buys when they steal someone’s bank card info. before they make the big purchases. They often use fake addresses.
Yes, I had this a few months ago. I had an order for a small item that came back undeliverable. I couldn’t get in touch with the buyer, I never heard anything more and it was never resolved. Very strange.
The first thing i would always do in that situation is go to Google maps and check the address. Beyond that i would do nothing and just wait until someone contacts you.

I have googled it on maps and it’s in London on Ludgate Hill but all appears to look like McDonald’s and shops. Goole itself just seems to give ‘historic’ info for that address as it was famous for antique shops etc.
I was trying to work out, if it wasn’t genuine, what they would be trying to achieve.

Thank you Joy, I’ve messaged Folksy admin to see what they say and also googled the address, I find it odd that the buyer hasn’t been in contact to say they haven’t received it.
I also didn’t want a bad review!

The address was exactly the same on their paypal account too.

I think you might change your PayPal password just to be sure.
I usually put the address into Google maps and this can often reveal if an address is wrong or incomplete. It’s saved my bacon a few times.
