@ at front of shop name

Hi, please can someone tell me when I put @ in front of shop names, when I’ve posted some are highlighted and some are not. I do check spelling etc.

Thanks :heavy_heart_exclamation:

That’s always puzzled me too, as it happens when I do it - some work as links and some don’t and I don’t know why.

It puzzled me too when I started out on these forums! It’s just that not every shop owner registers for Talk Folksy and if they’re not a forum member their shop name won’t come up as a link.

I have found that sometimes if I don’t have a space before the @ sign, it doesn’t pop up the one I am looking for…if the one I want doesn’t show up,…I go back and type it again and it usually works and highlights it then… Susan @itsatwinthing

Are you tagging the correct @?

To tag Brenda @teabreaks is a prime example. Her shop name is GweddusArt but tagging @gweddusart doesn’t work.
