Best product liability insurance

Hi everyone,
Im wondering if anyone can give me advice on the correct product liability insurance i should be looking at to sell totebags etc? I am completely overwhelmed with the amount of different companies there are for different things.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read.

I get my public and products liability insurance from Artist’s Newsletter https://www.a-n.co.uk. I think it costs £38.00 per year and should cover all your needs as a seller. :slightly_smiling_face:

You’re welcome :relieved:

A-N has very strict rules you need to meet for the insurance to cover you - if you don’t meet those criteria the cover will be voided regardless of whether you are a member or not. Artist membership – who it’s for - a-n The Artists Information Company

CMITA do insurance cover for crafters - its ~ £60 for the year. https://www.cmtia.co.uk/

For the past 8 years, used Event Insurance - Graham Sykes Insurance for myself. I don’t know the different costs across the insurance mine field, but I have always been happy with them. £43.53 Insurance Premium Tax is levied by H.M. Government.

Thank you so much for the replies and advice. I’m gonna look over all of the info on all before I settle on 1 that suits my needs.

Thank you for posting this. I’ve been a member of a-n for some years and I now don’t meet their criteria! Exhibiting paintings etc became too expensive for me. I’d imagine a fair proportion of their members thinking they’re insured don’t actually meet those criteria, they’re quite old fashioned with more artists becoming independent of galleries.
