I’ve been searching/trawling through past topics and haven’t found an up-to-date answer… I know you can do discount codes which are applied on everything in your shop - but can you discount specific items only? (I saw one thread that suggested putting the sale items into a SALE collection, which might be the answer?)

I believe there’s no way to automatically discount specific items. What you’d have to do is update the price yourself and maybe put something in the description that says the original price so buyers see the discount they’re getting. Then as you say, putting it in a sale collection in your shop would make it obvious and easy for people browsing to find.
