Discount Codes against specific collections

Is the following possible.

I have a collection with ten items in it. I want to offer a 15% discount against those items but NOT on any other collections ( or items) in the shop.

or

is it possible to apply a discount code purely against a specific item rather than generally against every item

Sorry Steve!

If you want to use the discount code route it has to be a general discount across your whole shop.

The only other way to do it is to go into each individual item you want to discount and reduce the price. You can then put “15% off previously listed price” or similar in your item title.

Oh-if you think your customers would be honest (or wouldn’t think of trying the code on other items) you could put “15% off X category” on as a discount code and hope that people wouldn’t just use it on other items. It might work (or not).

Such as shame they havnt developed that feature.
