Just been over to look at your shop again. Have to echo others and say vast improvement on red background. Looking at the item you have posted a picture of here - it was only when I looked at the other photos in the listing that I noticed the pretty pattern on the beads, you just can’t see it in the main photo which is a shame. Better lighting and an image focusing on the item for sale would probably help. I’ve lost count of the number of times I have re photographed my items and theres still plenty of room for improvement!
I have to agree with all of the above too. Sorry. I think your products are great but the backgrounds fail them slightly. My pictures have been 're taken numerous times and they still aren’t as good as some I’ve seen here. Personally I would loose the fabric and props. Nice clear white background and under board. Set up in a well naturally lit room and pop a lamp over the top of your ‘set’ as it were then edit for brightness in a photo editing software. Your products are great you don’t need props to distract from them.
Your product description could do with a generic bracelet and necklace length I think this would deter people as they can’t determine how long/short something is.
If you have a Twitter connect this to your shop. Also Instagram and Pinterest are a great way to get your product out there.
Hope this helps it is meant too. I haven’t sold here on Folksy yet but have made online sales elsewhere. They key for me has been driving traffic to my items via social media. Also having active listings (favourites) and listing plenty of products I find seems to help. I try and list 1-2 New products each week. It takes determination and a good social media prescience for that first sale and also time my first online sale took me 12 months with a lot of hard work and tweaking lol.
Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it even if they not what I was hoping for lol.
So it’s back to the start and try again
