Cannot find where to add variations, and add bulk tags

Hello all. I’m Ruth and I’ve recently joined Folksy from the other side…! My shop is Jolly Dee

I have 95 listings imported and currently in my drafts while I edit them, which I’m finding a super slow process so far. Just lost a listing I was working on by refreshing the page because the images I was uploading had stopped uploading! Good job I had saved the content in a document.

So I tried to add all my tags at once in each listing, separating them with a comma and space as directed, but it just won’t separate them and makes them into one tag. This will take me a long time unless anyone can tell me a quicker way to do this?

Also, I have some one of a kind home decorations, with the option for the customer to choose from 5 different ribbon colours. I can’t see an area where the customer can either choose a ribbon colour when purchasing, or where they could type in the colour of their choice? I can’t even see where to add variations in the listing.

Variations you add on after the listing has gone live - here’s the blog post explaining how

you’d probably want the drop down menu version of variations.
sorry I can’t help with the bulk tags.

Awwwww thank you.
I don’t know what info gets imported when you use the import service but you might find setting up one listing with tags etc and then copying that listing (which copies over all the tags, categories etc etc) faster than filling in the missing info from the imported drafts.

YES. Good idea, I’d forgotten I could try this! I think I’ve stared at the screen for too long today

I’m assuming that additional shipping costs would be included in the price variation, as it doesn’t appear that shipping price can be altered separately?

Additional shipping costs for what? If you are thinking of having framed and unframed as variations on prints then yes you would need to add on any difference in shipping costs as part of the price variations.
