I seem to be getting quite a few views of last years Christmas items…are people really thinking of buying for Christmas in June? I know some places do a ‘Christmas in July’.
I’m wondering if I should start listing some Christmas items now.

I now leave Christmas listings in my shop all year round and they do get quite a few views. I sold some Christmas gift bags in February this year and I’ve been known to sell Christmas items during the summer in the past. I’ve noticed my Scandi Christmas hearts have had quite a lot of views during the last week. It’s strange isn’t it!!

Yes, very strange…I certainly am not buying for Christmas yet.
I might look at re listing some Christmas items that I have in stock over the next couple of weeks.
A few of the people who do the daily listing thread have commented that they have sold festive items already this year so I think if you have the stock its worth listing them.
I’ve read about quite a lot of people doing this! Although I wouldn’t Christmas shop now myself, I guess a lot of people like to be super, duper organised?!

I had a custom order recently for two Christmas tea cosies for a customer in the USA . It would seem some people are Christmas shopping already!

I sold a Christmas book last week from elsewhere & I know my customer bought a purse from Marie @MadeintheTemple because she mentioned it Some people definitely like to get organised I think!

Two years in a row I’ve had requests to make Xmas items in January. I assume to be used for Xmas…11 months later!

I made some new Christmas items earlier this year and they were sitting in drafts waiting for later in the year but after seeing a few comments about early Christmas sales I bravely listed them a couple of weeks ago. Haven’t been brave enough to promote them yet though!
Do you think that people are thinking about christmas cards yet??

I’m starting earlier this year. Normally my shop is closed for the month of September while I enjoy myself travelling round Europe in the motorhome. I always reopen just before I cross back over the channel and also always, have at least one order to post out as soon as I get back… and from that point onwards it’s Christmas all the way.
This year. Nope. 31st August will see me in hospital having a new knee so September trip is Out and my shop will be open all month, well from when I’m back home anyway as Bob will be able to pack up and post anything ordered.
Will be interesting to see if the Christmassy type orders start to come in before the end of September.
I leave Christmas items in my shop year-round because you never know when someone will see and buy ‘while they’re thinking about it’…
