Chrome's Awesome Screenshot: Capture and Annotate

I’ve just discovered this Google Chrome extension and have to say it is WONDERFUL!

You may have read about my trouble with UKIP on this thread UKIP have stolen my image

It’s been a real struggle dealing with them - my local UKIP candidate made some outrageous accusations on my facebook page and then deleted them all the next day.

A kind follower of my page suggested I install “Awesome Screenshot: Capture and Annotate”. It’s fab! With a couple of clicks I can get it to make a photo of a selection of a page, the visible page, or even the whole page (it does all the scrolling for you). You can then add arrows and text etc if you want to.

It will be useful for creating facebook promotional material as well as for recording evidence. Handy if your kids (or even you) are being bullied too.

Thank you, I’ve just downlioaded it too. Fantastic way to take a screen print of all my Folksy shop pages - don’t know what I might want them for but I bet I can find a good use.

Thanks Stephanie! What a cool tool!

Interestingly - having downloaded it onto my laptop last night - when I switched this desktop PC on this morning it very kindly automatically downloaded it onto here as well. As both are on the same Google account I presume but I was a but surprised it did it without asking.

I use the Snipping Tool, which just came with Windows. Have a look on your start menu if you have Win 7 - It is probably under All programs> Accessories. very simple to use.
