Hi, I’ve just bought a Sumup card reader to use at a stall later in the year. I did a test payment myself to check it was working ok and then issued a receipt to my email address. It confirms receipt from Happy Hedgehog Folksy UK and also includes my own home address. Is there any way to make my address private on the receipt? Thanks
I think its a legal requirement to give an address when you sell something. Folksy also gives customers your address when you sell something. I believe it’s also a requirement on your stall, only once in my lifetime has trading standards visited a craft fair I was doing, and a lot of people were in for a big shock, the organisers always made sure to include it as a requirement in future years. And yes, I had complied.

Yes it is law to,have your private address. The same with an individual websiteyour address has to be displayed.
