Good morning everyone. Great news on sales, sales milestones, house buying, fish buying and new circuit machines.
Sarah @dotterypottery you are so funny - cat bonuses made my day.
We are both still a bit below par (I am 4 days ahead of my husband so beginning to get through the worst). I have decided the best treatment is no housework, watch the olympics, do a bit of sewing.
They are good Hilary, sometimes you feel they bug us too much but their adage is prevention rather than cure. Blood test Thursday week all booked for 8:10. He will then ring me when he gets the results back which should be the next day.
Morning,
Didn’t get round to sharing yesterday although caught up with loving and had a good chuckle and lots of ‘yuck’ moments reading about all the bugs in fruit and veg.
Well done for the sales and hugs to those who may need one.
Another hot water bottle cover from me today. Crochet ‘Happy Scrappy’ Hot Water Bottle Cover - Folksy
I used to keep fish when I first moved to Glasgow and found myself a grotty bedsit. I was into darts at the time (can’t remember why) so called them all after my fav players. All went well for ages until Eric Bristow started to eat the others……he spent the rest of his days in isolation
Good afternoon all. I’m having a grumpy day today as I didn’t sleep very well last night, I was so hot and was awake between 2:45 and 5:30 then my husband woke me up at 8 by sawing something. I was not best pleased.
Could you add one to the tally for Oswestry Jewels please Anna @Fififoxi, I sold a little charm bracelet last night.
Today I have some Rosary style orange carnelian nugget bead bracelets
I love her so much . My original plan when starting this business was to sell from this bike, with displays front and back, directly to the tourists from the cruise ships that dock here. Got the bike, got the display cases, then discovered the nearly-£400 street trader license fee was non-refundable if they turned it down. There’s no way I can take a risk like that, so I’ll just enjoy the pretty bike for its own sake.
WOW, that’s a big amount to be non-refundable! The bike is beautiful and it still serves the purpose to take you to work (as you named the ride to the beach ).
