Good morning everyone we are going to retry our visit to the sea after an abortive attempt yesterday when the battery ran out on the key remote as we were parking up - queue quite a lot of grumbling and a little panic. That said we got back, found a battery and all is working.
Hugs to all with elderly relatives - my mum has been referred for some hospital tests but I can’t really get from her what it is all about I am sure all will come out in the wash.

Afternoon everyone.
Picked the last of the peppers this morning so will be making chilli jam tomorrow I think. There were also lots of windfall apples so I’m going to try a Dorset apple cake if I can find a recipe I fancy - courgette and chocolate muffins today! 
I have another Christmas card relist today.

Afternoon all. Having a lazy day today and doing a few domestic chores. Dogs have a play date later, with neighbours dogs coming over for a run.
Glad you had a better visit with your sister Joss, I wonder if someone had reminded her of the rhyme “this little piggy went to market” @XStitcherJoss

Had a nice trip to a bird reserve near us with our sons this afternoon. It’s a lovely relaxing place full of wildlife and some garden inspiration too.

Off to pick up Shiloh’s meds, B3994 closed again so a detour adding miles to the journey! Lee of course wants to go to M & S for his usual stockpile of Danish pastries. I am very good and just having Weetabix with banana, boring.

No the B3004 Kingsley to Alton. It opens and closes like a revolving door, think closes now until October.
Just waiting for Cedar Vets to open their new branch in Bordon, then do not have to go so far.
