Daily Listing Challenge and Group Promotion Thread July 2024

good morning all…
Sue @SueTrevor I found a brilliant handyman on our local facebook page.
Last week he came and cut a broken fence in half, cut up all the broken wood and unscrewed a rusty light cover and put a new bulb in for me…total cost £25. He does everything from fixing roofs to plumbing or building cupboards or putting light bulbs in. He is brilliant… Needless to say he is always very busy and he is coming back to put up a small piece of facia board on the front of the house and to put mastic around my kitchen sink.

Morning all.
Sun again here, hopefully it stays as we are going to an open air production of The importance of being Earnest this evening.
Our ride on mower died when I’d barely got started yesterday, so turned into a very expensive day. Husband is collecting new one this morning.
I am going to go and swap work around in a gallery later, to hopefully generate some more sales.

Glad you can move about again Sue @SueTrevor

Hope you all have a lovely sunny Sunday.

Shhh! Don’t tell my DH he wants a ride on mower, told him cordless is good enough. He can go play on the main gardeners mowers when they come, so mean, lol.

Carol @Caroleecrafts If you are using the British gas Peak Save electricity scheme, they are starting at 9am for the next month, and there will be some saturday ones starting next week. Linked to the Olympics.

Quick relist from me - I know it’s another Xmas item but it was about to expire and maybe the ice-cream colours will cool us all down on this glorious summmer day day.

I’m off up the allotment before it gets too hot … catch up with you all later

Good morning everyone. Back from Edinburgh I had a good trip but glad to be home and the weather is lovely.

I will probably lurk in the background :heart:ing and sometimes commenting for a few days while I get back in to the swing of making things.

Have a good day all.

Thank you Sharon sure used to be 11am. Still programmed the drier to come on at 11. If I tried to alter would have broken it!

Mine hankers after a little tractor that can have hedge cutting and mowing attachments, but has to make do with a ride on, we only have a 1 acre field with lots of obstacles to mow around, and it’s usually me that does it.

Yes it is normally 11, they have just extended the hours for a few weeks during the olympics. It’s back to normal after Sept 8th.

I wouldn’t mess with dryer programming either

Morning everyone,

We went to Staughton Harold yesterday, it has a garden centre, crafts, cafes and you can do walks and we went down to the lake. So very peaceful. I came home with three very pretty sedums, the weather was perfect.
