Is this Sues link?
Morning all, bright start sunny here.
Off to Aquafit shortly, followed by mowing.
Had a great evening watching a play and drinking Pimms in the sunshine, but my head is groggy this morning, hoping the pool will sort it out.
Back later with a listing.
Hello all
I didn’t get round to listing anything yesterday - kept getting distracted, then remembered to love everyone’s things. Anyway today’s listing is this anniversary card:
I’ve only been doing the thread since January, but I’m thinking maybe it does quieten down in the sumer when people may be taking breaks or making less new things? Hopefully it will pick up again in September as we all ramp up our Xmas stock.
Another one of my little travel felt playmats, this has a meadow/farm on on one side and a fairytale theme on the other.
Sharon @TheOldButton , this has always been a very busy thread, no matter what time of the year it is…so it is a bit of a mystery. Of course we get people come , stay a while and leave but we have always had loads of regulars who now seem to have disappeared. As you say, hopefully it will pick up soon …(I did a test bus trip to Bridgend last month !!)
Definitly a mystery then
How did the trip go? Next time you are coming over, let me know if you have some spare time and come over for tea and cake. I can pick you up as I’m not that close to the main bus stops.
Good morning everyone. I love this thread and I am sure we can keep things going. People seem to have had a lot going on outside their crafting worlds so hopefully just a lull.
I hope to be back full steam with some new listings later this week but to get me back in the groove here is a patchwork package relist
Morning everyone.
I’ve just put up the invitation to the August challenge and hope you can join in for another month of folksy fun. I shall be catching up for the last day of July and looking forward to all the fun of Augusts thread. I probably not be quite as ‘hands on’ as usual but will be checking in to encourage and monitor all those lovely sales. See you later everyone. xx
Good morning everyone (just). We’re back after a few days in Liverpool with our daughter and her family - exhausting, now we need a holiday - and a craft fair in Goathland, poor for me and pretty good for Francis @thatenamelguy.
I have listed some new pinnies, in a larger size than the last lot.
Unicorn apron age 6-10
Now I’m off to read your news and love your work as far back as I can manage before I have to go and get lunch.
Don’t worry, Brenda. I’ll never let you sit on the naughty step alone! What have you got to share today? I’ll bring along some millionaire’s shortbread if that would suit.
Hi everyone.
I’ve been awol the last couple of months, no big reason, just lots of little ones. I haven’t made a single thing!
I’m getting back into things now and am hoping to join in with the thread again in August. I’ve really missed you all x
Thanks for adding my link Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery I’ve tried to correct it but it won’t let me! Very strange.
Brenda @teabreaks and Sharon @TheOldButton it is incredibly quiet on here, the number of people joining in has dropped and therefore the number of sales we achieve every month. It’s still worth doing it, it’s not just about sales but friendships as well. I too am hoping it picks up before Christmas fingers crossed
Id love to join in with you all again but it would probably be at least 50% relists. Ive not done any linocutting since my eye op but Ive just started making again so maybe September. Unfortunately not everything is successful😐
Ive been spending alot of time in the greenhouse gardening and allottmenting which i love. I have popped in now and again to try and keep up to date with news and a few along the way.
Good luck to everyone for the Folksy exhibitions, and hopefully all the sales💃. im looking forward to it even though im not taking part this year
that would dunk nicely in my tea Joss @XStitcherJoss
Afternoon everyone, just back from our very relaxing week away. We had a lovely time, the campsite was just beautiful and so peaceful. It only opened a couple of weeks ago so everything was shiny and new! We did lots of walking as we could access the Forest of Dean from the site, I read a few books and just relaxed. I’m glad we left today as Koko wasn’t enjoying the heat and spent yesterday underneath the caravan! I thought I’d share a few photos with you! The last one is a wild boar in the bushes, I promise you that’s what it is
Not sure about the boar but can definitely see Koko has found a good spot. Sounds like you had a great time Hilary @kokoblue
Afternoon all,
Hotting up here in Devon
Good to see you both @LilacDaisy and @ChristineJonesPrintmaker.
I believe you about the wild boar, Hilary @kokoblue - we saw lots when we were last in the Forest of Dean! Glad you were able to relax and welcome back!
