So cute! @Fififoxi We have a tuxedo called Rhubarb
Hi everyone I’m back again with Oswestry Jewels this time.
Today I have a pair of earrings with an opaline bead and a gold plated lady charm
Finally something new! I love these poppies - wish I could grow them. Back later to and read your news.
we also have a tuxedo …well we don’t really… but she has been with us “outside” for two years now.
We built her an outdoor shelter and feed her ( big mistake)…We cannot allow her in the house because she scratches the furniture, tries to bring mice and birds in and I cannot bend down to pick her up.
She is also frightened if anyone comes to the door. ( we originally tried letting her in but when someone comes in the house she is frightened and runs to hide and we cannot find her) So sadly we cannot allow her in the house now.
I also couldn’t cope if she wandered the house during the night…if she wanted to go out in the night, I am worried that I might fall down the stairs…
we don’t have a cat flap and I don’t want a litter tray in the kitchen.
This picture is of her when she first started coming to the window to be let in…Kelly can manage to pick her up and make a fuss of her and I can… if I can bend down to fuss her but she is too heavy to lift.
That sounds frustrating - they looked good in the photo though!
Lovely to have you back with us Kim @KBCreations
Biggy smalls has a very impressive set of whiskers Anna @Fififoxi
Sitting at the hairdressers attempting my listing but photos aren’t loading so I’ll try again later
Thank you all for your kind thoughts, I’m feeling a bit more positive today so thought I’d pop in to do some loving. I’m glad I did because something rather lovely for my grand daughter fell into my shopping basket. Thank you @KBCreations x
Good afternoon. This is definitely an animal oriented thread a few weeks ago it was all the about the dogs, yesterday wildlife and today cats. Loving them all - possibly excepting the mouse in the house - although that reminds me of ‘I saw a mouse ……….a little mouse with clogs on etc. which is my favourite earworm.
Here is my listing a bright version of my hexi flower collage card:
At last! On the fifth attempt I have managed to list - so no explosion or scream, Brenda @teabreaks. It was the first time that has happened to me, and I definitely hope it’s the last! I hope it was all worth it. This apron looks very like the one I listed a couple of days ago, but the straps are different.
Magic cats apron
@PatchworkPackages …I will be singing that all day now…makes a change from my 3 year repetitive “Away in a manger”…lol…
well done Joss @XStitcherJoss …and very appropriate to choose cats today x
Thank you Hilary @kokoblue. I shall pop it in the post tomorrow
1 sale for me please Mel @aquilacrafts
Hi all,
Don’t get me started on cats! Proud ‘Cat-lady’ here, converted 3 years ago when my partner’s Mum found a black 5 week old kitten with his leg and ear missing. She gave him to us and now we have three kitties!
The other two (black and white), I found when they were 1 day old - with their stray mother and 2 other siblings. We looked after the mother and her kittens, spayed her and vaccinated them all. Then rehomed them. (My cats pictured below)
My listing for today is Pet portraits! Excited to put this up as it’s been popular recently (word of mouth).
@Fififoxi that’s good news about your Dad being up and about this morning
So sweet! @teabreaks I’m sure she appreciates all your help x
Hugs to you @kokoblue Hilary x
Ohhhh they’re so cute! @loulouart
I love your blabla reply!
Computers have a mind of their own. Sometimes there’s just no logic.
Loving the kitty talk. I also have a tuxedo cat (Doosey) who likes bringing us presents of live mice into the house. The latest one we discovered a couple of days ago when Doosey was chasing it around our bedroom at 3 in the morning! She must have bought it in earlier in the day as we keep her in at night, unless it got in on it’s own and she just bought it upstairs to us when she discovered it.
You are all so brave having mice running round the house. I would run a mile. Our rat situation is a bit better today. I have persuaded hubby to stop feeding the birds. There were 10 yesterday and just 2 today. Fingers crossed if the food runs out they will go elsewhere.
Dinosaurs today
