Good morning!
@Fififoxi Please add a sale for me in the totals.
I have been a wee out of touch… but have they announced any early Christmas events?
Here is my listing today. It is another set of Autumn Angels.

Good mornng, office day today so out early and back this evening to catch up. Hope you all have a nice day xx
Morning everyone
The weather was wonderful again yesterday so i spent some time in the garden after I’d sorted a few things for the weekend. I’ve now made a long list of things to do, lets hope I acheive them all. I used to be a list kind of person but more recently since the kids left home I do seem to have more time and don’t need to juggle my time so much. Also, I’m so slow it can be quite depressing just crossing one item off a day!
Good morning everyone. Hope you all have a good day.
Good morning.
My shop flatlined a long time ago Caroline @Caroleecrafts but I carry on although with slightly less vigour and enthusiasm!! In some ways it has been quite good for me as I don’t spend all my time focussing on one thing and have been enjoying other aspects of life. Fortunately I still make a few sales at the gallery and at events … had every intention of cancelling my plus account this year but forgot!! Still enjoying the conga from the sidelines
Holly off to the groomers for a hair cut today … ready for her adventure to London tomorrow
Todays listing
Morning all. Beautiful sunny morning.
Had a lovely day at Southwold yesterday with 3 of my friends from the village, the weather was gorgeous.
Hugs for one and all.
Likewise for me Roz…I have done very well this year and then suddenly zilch…very strange.
But I love Folksy and I know that these slumps happen and we just have to carry on creating.
It is another reason for adding the crochet.
I paint cards so quickly that if I just stick to painting then I would be buried under mounds of paper, card and paint.
By doing some crochet ( which is what I spent most of my life doing, designing, making and selling)…it keeps me out of mischief ( not really) and gives me something to do each day.
So today is a card day…
.
I just made my first ever Folksy sale. Can I join the conga line please? @PatchworkPackages
Congratulations Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio ! The first sale is a big deal! I was so excited.
I love Folksy most of the time Roz but still do not think enough is done to promote in the right places.
My making has now slowed down as mojo went. Will continue until Christmas but probably not making anymore. Trouble is I love to make and not sure how much reading I can do. With Shiloh held hostage so unable to go out and about.
Congratulations on your very first sale! Bring on the music!
Good Morning - oh dear, we all seem a little flat at the moment (myself included), so let’s do something to cheer ourselves up
Everyone tell me one of your most happy moments in life (can be anything, big or small) I’ll add mine in a bit.
Joss @XStitcherJoss - I know it’s such a sad situation but sometimes you need to find the humour in it to be able to carry on. At least your Sister knows that one bicycle would never last the journey all the way to Australia
Morning,
Well done everyone with sales and HUGE well done to you Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio for your first Folksy sale
Can I report another sale please Liz @PatchworkPackages I’ve sold another set of cracker hats this morning. Also did I let you know about the sale on Sunday? Can’t remember! I’ve had 3 sales now for this month.
A new hot water bottle cover today. I may need a hottie in my little shed as it’s a teeny bit chilly this morning!
Crochet Hot Water Bottle Cover Granny Square '… - Folksy
Your cracker hats are great idea Louise @thestitchyroom - no wonder they are selling so well. (I also love your hot water bottle covers as you know!)
A Happy moment from me!
I’d been together with Mr DP for just over 9 months and it was my Birthday, we went out for a meal and I was sure he was going to propose to me (absolutely convinced myself!) and when it didn’t happen, I couldn’t contain my disappointment and came home and sobbed!
Anyway, 3 months later, we went out for our year of meeting anniversary meal, to a very expensive restaurant on the town quay. This time, I did not have my hopes up (Ok, well maybe only 10%) that he would propose. We got through the starter, main course and as we were waiting for the dessert, he pulled his shirt up. I was wondering what on earth he was doing (as I did feel we were a bit riff raff for the place and I literally thought he was pulling his shirt up to rub his full belly!) He pulled his shirt up and written across his belly was “Will You Marry Me”. OMG, I was in stitches, it was so funny! He meant it though. So of course I said yes.
We had our puds and then we decided to carry on celebrating our engagement. It was quite late and we didn’t want to go to a nightclub, so we got on the ferry to the Isle of Wight and did a round trip! It was weirdly romantic and we even managed to get drinks on the ferry from the bar. It was all twinkly and watery and boaty and just right!
(we still haven’t actually got married though - nearly 30 years later!)
Congratulations, Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio on your first sale.
Also congratulations to everyone else with sales.
A relist from me today.
Good morning everyone what an up and down set up of posts today.
Disappointment for flat lining sales (me included) and then so many sales reported I had to make a list or I would have missed some.
Special congratulations to Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio on your first sale in honour of this special sale you get to lead the conga today. If you get time please let us know where the conga is going.
Congratulations to others with sales let’s see where the conga takes us.
Love your story Sarah @dotterypottery you are amazing.
I will return shortly with a tally for the conga line and my happy story.
Not sure if I will get a listing out today.
The conga has 56 sales so not too shabby
My story is after we lost our black lab Bess at just 9 years my husband and I agreed we would have a couple of years dog free. Of course within 6 months I was secretly looking for a new pup and one day I stumbled across a litter of springers with unusual colouring. I broached the idea with Bob who said no it is too soon.
Ofcourse, again, I rang the breeder when I was at work and found there were only 2 pups left and they were 10 weeks old so needed to go to new homes quickly. I realised this would not be long enough to persuade Bob and put the idea to bed.
When I got home from work Bob announced he had puppy proofed the garden - he knew me too well ……. We picked up Jake that weekend
Enjoy Snow Patrol Lorraine @LilacDaisy - We saw them 15 years ago when they were just starting out as a support act to ‘Grandaddy’ - no one had heard of Snow Patrol in those far off days. We saw them at Portsmouth which is a small venue - a handful of us wandered down from the bar and stood a few feet from the band to hear their opening act - we thought they were pretty good and they certainly went on to greater things (Grandaddy were amazing too)!
Very excited for you @QuirkyOwlStudio on your first sale! I’m still waiting for mine .
Here is my listing today - if you want something totally unique, never to be repeated the same , for a new baby , then look no further!
Hi @ButterflyThistleCreativeCrafts - well done on the sale but you need to let Liz know @PatchworkPackages - I was thread mother last month. xx
