When you are writing a description for your listing - if you click on the bottom right hand corner of the description box and drag it - you can expand the box!
Apparently you could do it on the old listing page too - I never knew!

Why on earth can I no longer amend a current listing price, or add more details.

There are still glitches with the new system…one of the big issues I’m coming across is that symbols aren’t allowed in the tags section eg gift under £15 would cause a problem. I’ve reported this but it’s definitely worth keeping reporting if you see problems. Btw, the old version form is still available for use.

@DemelzaDesigns - please can you use the feedback form on the listing page, that makes sure that any problems are getting reported to right team to be able to manage them

I’ve just seen the blog about the new system and also the wedding fair so I’ve got a lot of homework to do to make the most of both these things. I say every year “ I’m going to push my wedding items this year “ but next thing it’s winter again, so I’ve no excuse now, have I?

@Macclesfieldbagworks The majority of symbols already weren’t allowed in tags (as they’re used to create URLs a lot of symbols will cause issues), £ got missed as the odd one that is allowed, but that should hopefully be fixed soon.
@DemelzaDesigns You should be able to change both your item price and add more details, if the listing won’t save, it means there’s an issue somewhere on the page. Hopefully most issues should come up with an error to let you know where the problem is, but if you can’t find what’s wrong, please use the feedback link to let us know what you’re struggling to change (or if you need to send screenshots and write more to clearly describe the problem, you can email your feedback to support@folksy.co.uk).

Is this new today ? I’ve just seen the new layout for adding or amending listings, I think it’s better than the old version especially the additional space in the description as I often struggled to fit all the information. Adding options is also much easier than previously.

I’ve had the new listing form for 2 weeks now and find it better than the old version. I’ve had no problems whatsoever.

Oh my goodness. The thing I only just realised today was that the new listing format allows you to edit and crop photos. Fab for the photos that you upload or have uploaded and feel a little tweaking would be helpful. What a fab feature @folksy xx

Yes, the Folksy clubhouse is still going..it’s not for promoting your shop but more a place to ask questions, ask for advice etc. and where Folksy themselves post updates.
