New listing page set up

I hate the new listing’s amendment. I can no longer alter a current listing or add more details. It’s really thrown me! Has anyone any idea how i can amend a current listing. I have tried no end of times but the new layout will not save any alterations even when using the save icon at the bottom of the listing page.

I seem to have managed it by using the ‘classic set up’ option if anyone else is having the same problem.

The old version is still available and there’s also a feedback section for problems with the new form

I’ve just found it and tried amending a listing and mine went well, I love the new layout especially the extra space in the description box and the use of the options section. I edited a listing ajd mine saved OK, I’m using a tablet, don’t know if that makes any difference or not Gail.

@DemelzaDesigns …the problem is that we will have to conquer the problems because the old ( better) way will be removed after a while.
I personally always hate change,I work on automatic pilot and if things change..I am stuck…good luck…xx

It’s working good for me. I can list and edit.

But can we please have the ability to re-order tags - it was promised as an improvement over a year ago I think, as part of the work being done to improve Search, where the order of tags was identiied as important.

I’d also love the ability to bulk edit dispatch times - so we can flex to accomodate quicker dispatch at peak season times, or extend it slightly if we are away for a couple of days. After re-ordering tags, this is the most time consuming admin task in Folksy for me.

I’ve had this for two weeks now and find it a lot better than the old version. I’ve had no problems editing listings.

I only got it today and much prefer it

but just been reminded by another comment…. Can we also please have the ability to change tags on multiple listings for things like theme of the day because its a royal pain when we have a tag then the theme of the day is a plural or singular version of it and we have to change them all individually, half the time I don’t bother if I’m busy as it’s too time confusing.

It would be handy to have shipping profiles too since prices seem to be going up twice a year. I know there’s the bulk edit but it’s still a pain when you have lots of different weight bands and you’re scrolling through all the listing’s to find the correct ones to edit.

Now able to make adjustments after contacting Folksy support. Now starting to get used to the new layout! I see your having a good year so far with sales. I am making a few but not putting in the social media time due to having to rest more! Working on eco pure natural fibre yarns at the moment.

We’re glad to hear it’s feeling easier to use now!

@TheOldButton It was the previous search where the order of tags was important, it makes no difference which order you put your tags in for the current search.

More bulk editing features is something we hope to add to the site in the future, but it will take some more work before we’re ready for that.

Pleased to see you can use it now, I only looked at one listing and it seems a lot better to use than it was before. I definitely made the right decision this year Gail, hope it continues.

I’m so glad you are able to create again, I know you enjoy doing it and the eco pure yarns sound great for your work. Health issues certainly get in the way don’t they, you will get back into everything in time xx

I had issues with the new format today.

I copied a listing and then edited it with the new information and photos, but when I clicked ‘save & continue’ it logged me out and wouldn’t let me list. When I went back in, it hadn’t saved the new information in the draft listing so did it again, and it did the same thing. I then did it with the classic format. Even that played up and it took me 4 attempts to altogether to save and let me list!

I did send feedback.

I have had issues yesterday and today when listing using the new format. It sometimes logs me out when I click ‘save & continue’ and does not save my changes.

I did use te feedback button yesterday, but it did it again today so wasn’t sure if I should contact support. I have listed the item now but it took a few attempts!

I’m using a desktop, Wndows 11, and Chrome.

@KBCreations Thanks, I’ve passed it on to the team and some changes have now been made which hopefully should help with this issue, but if you find you’re still getting problems with it, please email support to let us know.
