I live in NI and all my items were originally listed before 13/12/24 - is it possible for me to sell these items within NI as they are exempt but exclude the rest of the EU by perhaps stating in the shop announcement only for sale in NI…?

I believe the information about things listed before the 13th cutoff date was not correct. There is something about that elsewhere on the forum.

Thank you! It is so disappointing not be able to sell to anyone here in NI or purchase from other Folksy sellers based here too, hopefully, there will be some resolution in the near future

Hi Noelle, I was in touch with Folksy Support last year about the NI situation. They said they hope to look into it again this year, with a view to enabling all folksy sellers to be able to choose which countries they sell/ship to. Unfortunately because NI is following the EU single market rules, we have to be grouped with the EU for shipping. So unless we NI folksy sellers opt to sell to the EU, we can’t sell within our own UK region, as things stand. Last year I put on my shop info that regrettably I can’t sell to NI atm. I’ve asked customers who have a query to message me on the shop contact button, but so far no NI customer has. Fingers crossed for a solution at some point soon. If you have worries you should message folksy support, they are very quick to respond and answered all my queries. Hope this helps Jx
