Feedback issue

Is it possible for non folksy members to leave feedback in my shop after making a purchase? There also appears to be no facility for me to leave feedback for non members. I have several sales to non members, but no comments either way to show this. I am relatively new to Folksy and need the feedback. Does anybody know why non members are unable to give feedback?

Simple answer is that Guest Buyers are unable to leave feedback.

It would be nice if buyers could leave feedback, i get my feedback via emails.

I’ve sold nearly 30 items and not one bit of “folksy” feedback, though I always make sure I leave it for others… All depends who buys I suppose, it’s a pity x

Most buyers don’t leave feedback, probably because they either don’t know how to or don’t realise how important some sellers feel that feedback is.

The fact that a buyer hasn’t registered with a site means they probably don’t want to engage with it much, they just want their items and that’s it. If they wanted to leave feedback and such all they need to do is register.

I wouldn’t worry about it. Buyers probably don’t take much notice of whether feedback from others has been left or not.

Good points, Margaret.

No, Guest Buyers can’t leave feedback - which really is a protection for buyers, I think, as they can’t anonymously post feedback for shops just to cause mischief. Only allowing registered users to leave feedback forces people to take responsibility for what they say.

It would be nice if everyone would leave us feedback, but it won’t happen - as Margaret @Louisa15 says, some people don’t know how, others just don’t want to bother.

I don’t let it worry me - I just get on with trying to sell my stuff!
