Fees - am I just being oversensitive?

I’ve just paid my fees for my February sales, and I wonder about the wording on the bill.

It told me the fees were “Outstanding”.

Not “Due” - “Outstanding”.

I did a double take as that word means overdue to me - late. They’re not late. This is the very first day that I could pay for February sales. I actually did a quick search to verify I hadn’t missed any fee payments before.

Has that wording changed recently? It was even displayed in red, which combined with the word “outstanding” implies it needs immediate action or there will be an “or else” moment.

Maybe I’m just being a bit snowflaky (apt, considering the weather here). I just don’t remember the bill looking like that before.

I don’t think you need to worry… They should email you when it’s time to pay. Also if fees are under a certain amount. They wait and send the bill when you reach the required amount. I can’t remember how much that is.

Did you click on the bill section? Mine says bill not issued… does yours show that your bill has been issued?

Oh yes, I got the email, and then forgot about it till I came on the site, so I clicked on the bill from dashboard. It just gave me a wee start, seeing the word “outstanding” as that immediately made me think I had missed a payment. I normally just pay from the email so maybe it’s always been this way.

I’m not sure whether that has changed or not (can’t remember what term was used) but it’s possible. A few things have changed with the bill recently - all the Plus account zero listing fees disappeared (thank goodness) and a few other things - probably to accommodate the changes due to Stripe.

On another note, I tried to pay from the link in the e-mail today and got a message saying the page either didn’t exist or may have been moved! I had to come to the site and pay from there. Goodness knows what was going on there!

I paid my bill first thing yesterday morning recieved a receipt but on my dashboard it still says ‘You have fees still to be paid’ and ‘fees pending’ in Your Monthly Fees. I have emailed @Folksyadmin
