Interesting to read your findings Sasha. I took part in the 2015 and 2016 challenges 20 sales 2015 and 22 2016 ,I am quite a bit behind that this year. Not sure about revenue wise as Stripe has complicated the comparing of fees.
I found the same as you at fairs, way fewer sales but some higher priced ones made the over all takings not too different.
Last December was my best month ever here, so fingers crossed for a good one this year. @SashaGarrett

Got here finally . Not sure how the next few days will pan out .I am off to my mum’s and to see Gorillaz at Manchester Friday night and staying with my mum till Sunday .
My son going to his first gig (Gorillaz too)at a big venue in London on the train with his friend and meeting his big sis there. But I am just getting stupidly anxious about the whole thing … their safety , ability to travel about and general survival skills. They have plans to do loads of things …Natural History , Science and Design museums , Photographer’s gallery , ice skating blah blah. He is too cool about it ! or am I being stupidly over worried. I suppose you have to start somewhere.

Caroline @carolinefrodsham - I always worry like mad when my girls go to London, even if they are just passing through, that they won’t be able to navigate their way with the tubes etc etc. Stupid thing is that I spent my whole childhood in London and was whizzing around on my own from the age of about 13 and I managed and never came to any harm (and that was in the days of a very active IRA!) … and we didn’t have mobile phones! Think we probably over think it all, they have to grow up eventually and I’m sure your children will be fine. I also used to worry about them getting the bus to school!

The good thing about London is how easy it is to get about, with the tube and an A-Z you can’t really get lost.
If your son is with a friend it will be a great adventure, and they will be with big Sis after the show.
If he is confident enough to go for it he will be fine, I reckon.
Doesn’t stop you worrying though. x

I’m back home in the warmth of my own home, which isn’t that warm as the internal kitchen door has been removed! On the upside, all the boxes and garden waste got taken to the tip, the bathroom door was painted and my son was made a manager, which at 20 years of age and no university education is amazing. He has come down with a cold, I think due to the stress. We love our more open plan house, but the door must go back when it’s painted as it lets too much cold air in. Caroline @carolinefrodsham stop worrying, like Sasha, we were always often visiting London back in the day, with the very active IRA! And were there the day Harrods was bombed, no phones, and tiny little a-z’-s, he’ll be absolutely fine. But it won’t stop you worrying 
Megan @SoSewMegan yes, I entered my pomegranate, a jug and a teacup. The dimensions allowed for 3D work weren’t too big.
I came home to find a beautiful email from one of my recent customers, now that’s what makes this job special

Thank you you lovely people ! I did live in London for many years and have taken the kids there lots of times , so hopefully all will be well but …here I go again…It’s so much busier now… But I suppose they have google maps/GPS or whatever it is ! Basically I want them all to have a great time , nothing stressful to happen and begin stepping out into the big yonder …(theres bound to be something stressful).I need to stop worrying:anguished:

It’s natural we worry so much about our children Caroline @carolinefrodsham I would be exactly the same if my daughter was visiting London. She had a school trip there for five days when she was 11 and I don’t think I slept at all.
I know it’s easier said than done, but try your best not to get anxious about it. I’m sure they will have a fab time. X

Really must get my promotion hat back on - I have been very lax recently! Didn’t really get much done yesterday, the enthusiasm didn’t return. Finished the commission and did a few samples for a new idea but thats as far as it went. Out today at the craft shop - fingers crossed I have made some sales there this week.
