good morning all.
Talking of London, I lived there for 50 years and worked in Baker Street when I left school… (at 16)…I would go to work on the tube in the early hours of the morning and home in the dark in the winter…(not sure I would do it now) but I never thought once about being afraid of anything…apart from a man who once popped his telephone number into my shopping bag as he got off the tube at Notting Hill Gate…but that was the only time I ever worried…
Times are different now and I hope that all those youngsters stay safe and get home safely after having a great time…Oxford street crowds at Christmas can be a nightmare…you find yourself crossing the road even when you didn’t want to…ha ha…

What a lovely thing to say Karen @karenscraftybitz, thank you. Made my day as I’ve had a particularly trying morning at the hospital where I saw a junior doctor instead of my consultant. I know they have to learn and gain experience but just not on me!

@SoSewMegan - on the other hand, when the consultant was puzzling over my wife’s kidney failure it was the junior doctor who remembered a rare probable cause that turned out to be the culprit.
