Awake early this morning, not sure why as I was up later than usual last night so expected to sleep in. Lots to get on with today and over the weekend (general jobs, sadly not crafting) - as usual I have started lots and finished nothing!!
Fast running out of things to share but I think I’ll make it to the end of the month but then might have to do some relists for a bit.
Lovely to see there’s been quite a bit of sales yesterday.
Last night I went to Picture house cinema to see A Little Life, not sure if either of you read. It was as expected very intense and loooong, just as the book is. Really good though and impressive activing. So glad I went to see it but wish I’ve seen it in the theatre instead, however it’s as recorded really well for cinemas. James Norton is amazing actor!
Anyway, enough of my babbling here is my today’s listing, new bookmark
Morning all…
Happy Anniversary Caroline @Caroleecrafts …yes where do the years go?..have a lovely day.
damp outside but no rain.
Today I have another hand painted landscape card
.
Looks like it’ll be a nice day here. I’m going to nip out for a quick run before I talk myself out of it. Macmillan coffee morning in the village hall this morning which I’ll pop along to. I baked some Swiss tarts yesterday for it. Why is it that I can bake fine until it’s for an event like this and everything sinks? They taste ok but don’t look great.
Just had a email and got half price electric every Sunday until Christmas between 11 am and 4pm. As cook by electric going to be a saving, think will get a lot of cake bases done and in the freezer.
Morning all. Happy Anniversary Caroline! @Caroleecrafts In my youth I would spend my Friday nights down the pub. This was in the 1990’s so I also saw bands such as Suede, Pulp, Manic Street Preachers etc etc. 30 years later…I’m Going to see Mary Beard (TV historian) tonight at Cambridge Corn Exchange!
Wow lucky you getting to see so many great bands. Last bands we saw (over 10 years ago) were Deus, Grandaddy and Steely Dan though back in the seventies and eighties we saw many of the classics like Pink Floyd and Weather Report. Mary Beard is right up our street now - she’s brilliant and I think your in for a very interesting evening.
Does anyone else have problems with how folksy is loading on iPad and phone? Mine is just like a list but when I click on a shop it looks normal. I’m not sure where to post to get advice?
Good morning everyone, it’s a very chilly start here today, time to get the jumpers out! Just watching squirrels in the garden burying food so I guess that means the weathers turned.
Another day with the grandchildren, all three today so I think a G&T and an early night later!
I’m hoping to find some time for some crafting at the weekend, trying a few new ideas and techniques so far unsuccessfully but who knows, something might work!
Morning everyone. Well the new boiler installation is nearly finished so things will soon be back to normal - though we’re considerably lighter in pocket - ouch!
We also have a new bed being delivered today so, in anticipation, we spent yesterday cleaning and painting the bedroom - ‘WOW’ who knew dust bunnies could get so big underneath an old bed!
Lovely listings from everyone today and a great Folksy Friday board Max @MaxPringJewellery - I love burnt orange.
Todays another re-list needing some love - have a great day everyone.
Although it was the 90s I was (and still am) into 70s music. Pink Floyd is my favourite band so very jealous! Only get to see the tribute bands there days. Moody Blues - Saw Justin Haywood at St Albans Arena as well as Steeleye Span and Fairport Convention were Robert Plant casually walked on stage to do a set unannounced!
