Morning, chilly though sunny start to the day here.
I’ve not had a chance to list anything the past couple of days as really busy with fair prep although I’ve been popping in to ‘love’ you all at random times.
I’ve listed a couple of coaster sets this morning so here is one of those.

Some of the tribute bands are very good Mark @pritteehippee and a lot of the older performers are getting better with age (saw Neil Young about 15 years ago and he was outstanding even in his sixties - old rockers never die). Great that you got to see Robert Plant - Led Zeppelin were wonderful.

Morning all. Chilly here this morning.
Congratulation on your anniversary Caroline and Lee @Caroleecrafts
Lovely goodies everyone all viewed and loved with random pinning.
Making me very nostalgic thinking about the bands me and OH have seen over the years, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler, Curtis Stigers, Run Rig,
Levellers, Queen, and all the bands at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, ooh those were the days…

Led Zep often did things impromptu. Lee went to the record fair in Caversham one Sunday and next to him with a minder was Jimmy Page looking for his own records! The originals are worth a lot of money now. Lee was never keen but now likes them and has rebought the albums.

I gave some love and left a comment on your beautiful board on FB to give the post a “push”, but I’m not on any of the other social media unfortunately (or not ) @MaxPringJewellery .

This is my listing for today, a bit of a different one, but really enjoyed making it!

Morning all,
Happy Anniversary to you and Lee, Caroline @Caroleecrafts. Hope all goes well at the vets.
Currently debating whether to continue into October or not. I haven’t got a lot of new stuff to show, so it might have to be quite a few relists, but it has helped with sales. :woman_shrugging:

So sorry to sound silly, but I’ve rejoined Folksy and I’m still finding my way around here and not sure how it all works or what I should be doing.

Morning everyone,

Happy Anniversary Caroline @Caroleecrafts

Mel @aquilacrafts good to hear your son is having a good time in freshers week. Below is a photo of me at the freshers bazaar in '79 or '80 I was on the entertainment committee trying to get students to come to the discos or band or recruiting to help out. The Police would have been playing thet term and we all have the t shirts. They no longer have bands after a couple of stabbings! The uni’s polosy allowed anyone in, not just students hence the unwelcome ones. Im the one pulling a silly face.
So to add to todays debate on music my era was late 70’s and 80’s I saw anything and everything except the huge bands of the 70s

Mel @aquilacrafts, I managed to talk myself out of my run before I even got out of bed!!..and as for cakes, I have yet to bake one that works, no longer even try - just get someone else to make it!!
Happy anniversary Caroline @Caroleecrafts
Just spent most of the morning trying out a new set up for my next event in a couple of weeks - identified a few things that I need to make a few more of if I have time.

All this talk of bands makes me feel really old.
Go back a lot further…
I danced on stage a few days before the Beatles were on the same stage recording “A hard Day’s Night”…My Mum was on a tv programme with Cliff Richard and my cousin was Adam Faith…so that was MY era…60’s …all flower power and Carnaby Street…
