Morning all. Sunny autumnal morning here today but it going to be very warm later on.
Poor Charlie greyhound had to be sedated yesterday as the vet needed to open up the pad with the suspected thorn, she was unable to find anything lodged in the pad but said that something had infected the pad and she was able to clear out an amount of pus, and whilst he was under she clipped his claws, cleaned his teeth and removed a loose back tooth, so by the time we got him home at 6.00 yesterday evening he was feeling very sorry for himself. He’s much livelier this morning, we’ve got to take him back on Saturday for a wound check and redressing.

It’s Blackpool Illuminations official switch-on tonight, which is one of the markers for me of the end of summer holidays and the transition to autumn. Time to look for warmer clothes and accessories.
