Morning all, the sun is shining at the moment but we are forecast rain for the next 10 days according to the lady who cuts my dads grass, so I think I shall tidy our garden this morning, before it’s too late.

Hope Charlie feels better today Lynn @erkinwald I expect your bank balance will take longer to recover! :joy:

Morning everyone!

When someone said to us ‘pinch, punch, first of the month’ we’d retaliate with ‘a slap and a kick for being so quick.’

Hope Charlie’s on the mend.

Another wintry listing from me, on the berries theme.

Thank you for all the well wishes everyone, Nan passed away peacefully last night in the hospital. Mum is already down there and I will be joining her from Saturday so I will be away from the computer until Thursday and unable to really keep up with the likes etc.

It’s all a bit of a relieve after a few years of very high stress trying to maintain someone’s quality of life with dementia through a pandemic. Maybe one day I’ll write a book but it’s not a fun read for sure!

Back from the vets, Shiloh jumped in the car no problems, caused a rumpus in the surgery as barked. Big dog reverberated round the waiting room, think woke the rest of Grayshott!

All okay, Annadine clipped his nails, something that always worries me. No lumps or bumps but has put on weight so less treats from Lee. She then proceeds to give him treats for the jab and 2 more for being good!

So sorry for your loss Rachel @flyingcheesetoastie but I can understand the feeling of relief as well as sadness. My mum’s got dementia too, she’s just rang me to ask if she’s going to prison! It’s her new obsession, she keeps thinking the police are coming to take her away :slightly_frowning_face:

Good morning all it’s quite nippy here today and it’s supposed to be wet and cold over the weekend.
So sorry to hear your sad news Rachel @flyingcheesetoastie no matter how expected it is it is always a sad time. Thinking of you.
I’ve been through and viewed and loved everything which is really taking a while this month as there are so many of us. It’s always good to have so many though.
Today I have a child’s cabled jumper

The only thing I’d heard before joing this thread was a tradition of saying ‘rabbits’ on 1st March only, we would have loved the ‘pinch punch’ thing as kids if we’d known about it - this is indeed an education :grinning:

Morning all,
Poor Charlie Lyn @erkinwald :paw_prints:
Oh Rachel, :hugs: hugs for you and your mum. My dad had Alzheimer’s, and there was a large dose of relief mixed with the grief when he died.
