Another re-list for me again today - I’ve been so busy making Christmas decs and commissions that I haven’t really made anything new and exciting for ages!
Roz @OrchardFelts - I think your patchwork panels would make nice purses or a panel on a bag.
Glad today went as well as it could Brenda @teabreaks
Listening to the rain at the moment - glad I got the car loaded ready for the weekend’s fair before it started. The fair is called the Umbrella Fair - hope that’s not a bad omen!
Been out for most of the day and resorting to a re-list again
So I got distracted whilst drinking the tea, did various other things during the day and now I’ve been drinking wine (a rather agreeable NZ white) - today’s listing either isn’t going to get done or isn’t going to make sense is it?
Good morning yay happy dancing for your sale Francies
I’m looking forward to seeing your finished ring Sasha, not tried hollow form yet. Ouch Deborah, I noticed Axminster Tools are selling the small Proxxon torch yesterday, worth a price check. I bought myself a flex shaft to fit my proxxon multi tool yesterday and it works a treat, not sure I’m doing enough to justify buying a Fordom yet I spent yesterday afternoon just meling scraps and making silver pebbles, great fun!
Good morning.
Well, with the dire lack of sales this year I am really ready to give up but have decided to give it one last push in the run up to Christmas so bit the bullet yesterday and ordered a mammoth amount of silk and wool. Broke the bank but they say you have to speculate to accumulate! I will carry on now until I have used it all up but then will have to reassess the situation - I can’t afford to be buying supplies if it doesn’t yield any return!
Until my new goodies arrive it will be a case of smaller items I can make with what I have in stock so heres the first.
good morning all.
Today I have a crocheted baby hat.
To the lady who suggested that I take pics on a different background to get the right colour on my camera…thank you. I took this photo on a white background and the hat is showing at the correct shade of red ! Eureka !
.
So glad the back ground tip worked for you.
I treated myself to a little light pop up box a while ago, which came with a variety of background cloths. I was so excited to have all of the colour choices and couldn’t wait to get started taking photographs.
After much faffing and frustration it dawned on me that I was only managing true colours of my jewellery with the white backing.
I think it was confusing my camera having to focus in on both with such a colour contrast.
Morning everyone,
Today’s listing
Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery I hope you can replace your torch soon and in the meantime still get on without that piece of equipment.
Roz @OrchardFelts let’s hope it picks up for all of us, buying silk and wool is definitely the way forward! New inspiration. My shop is very possibly more stocked up than ever before but I’m trying to build up stocks for two shows in the autumn and have enough for Christmas too. I need to spend more money soon on supplies, and I am reluctant too without sales!
Morning all, sunny and windy here in Scotland, perfect for drying the washing.
Been absent for a week or so to celebrate my husband becoming an OAP - heck, that makes me feel young!
After a very dry spell, can I report a sale please Max @paperchainsandbeads - been a long time coming!
Also, been working on a new item - bought RFID fabric from China and using it for passport and wallets to help protect from identify theft. Think I’m the only crafter so far using this with Harris Tweed so hoping it’ll be a good seller.
Morning all, im really pleased with my firing and here is the 1st of the pots to show you, in a slightly different colourway to my normal blues! This is a miniature bowl…
