Although this Greeting Card has been seen before as a Fatherās Day Card, I thought I would make one without the Fatherās Day Message on the front of the card. So it can be sent to anyone - maybe for a Dog Loverās Birthday, or a Thank You Card etc., etc,

Thanks for all the advice - I said no to the wholesale order - I feel relieved that I did!
I do think I should be looking at my pricing structure again Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery - as it just doesnāt work if I want to sell anywhere that takes a big percentage, itās only really set up for selling directly online or at fairs.
I would really like to speak to a business mentor as I feel like my business just never moves forward - every year I tell myself I am going to take time out to pursue some different type of ceramics (where my heart really lies) This year, I managed 3 days before I got bogged down with my regular items. I know I should be truly grateful that my business is thriving and I am but I just think some of the way that Iāve constructed it has limited me. I need someone to take a look at it from a distance and not from the eye of the stormā¦lol!

Yes, thatās how it becomes doesnāt it - I say to Mr DP, sometimes it feels like Iām working in a factory when Iām making big, bulk orders and that the creative process has become purely robotic!

All done to here, Sarah I agree with the comments on your pricing, I donāt think an increase would do any harm and you can always do it little by little. Iām amazed you can sell your lovely creations as cheaply as you do.

About the donkeys; it was tough to go into mass production, but, I thought, an interesting challenge. I had submitted a sample and that had been accepted; we agreed about submitting in batches over a period. I submitted the first batch, some white ones, grey ones, black, cream, tinge of brown. If my kids were looking for a souvenir then they would want one like the one they had fallen for in the fields. They were pleased with the batch but had expected that the donkeys would be the same as the sample. The rest of the order was

Itās too late in the day for me to list or relist anything today. I have been doing arty things, mostly sketching a few bits other than landscapes to bulk out my portfolio to support my uni application. (Iām trying not to look like a one trick pony!). Iāve quite enjoyed it. Art for art sake is actually very pleasurable without the worry of whether anyone will want to buy it or not.

I have just listed another pair of Japanese washi paper earrings, this time some heart shaped ones featuring hydrangea pattern!
I applied for Pedddle, but I got an email from nikki, the founder saying that I was not successful, as my instagram was a bit confusing and not āon brandā! Oh well, Iām still getting to grips with it really!

Good evening. Iām a bit late tonight. Had a busy day but still donāt know where the time went. I received a delivery of some supplies that I had ordered to have a go at something different. It was like Christmas opening all 6 packages, and then I just had to have a go and make my first pin cushionsā¦well you have to donāt you.
