Folksy 365 - Daily Listing Challenge Thread - MARCH 2018

O no :frowning:ļø Poor you . Such a simple job to do and annoying that it had such horrendous results . We still have an ice rink outside the back door - avoiding it but I could easily forget . Take care . Hope bruising goes down quickly .

:joy::joy: loving the ā€˜what do you see in the iceā€™ thoughts, yes I can see a squirrel now but I think Diā€™s rabbit with a welly boot is winning so far lol!

Ouch Pauline @PollysWares138 hope you recivery quickly and are not too sore. Hope your loger gets rescused soon Roz @OrchardFelts. Oh Sarah @thedotterypotter I do feel for you nothing worse that trying to manage anxiety, I must say since I started the menopause I find anxiety is something I get now that I didnā€™t before and itā€™s difficult to put things into perspective, sunding a hug to you lovely :hugs:

Daniel @danheffer, you might want to add the size in inches us ACEO collectors are very particular on the size must be 2.5 x 3.5 inches  itā€™s lovely by the way, feel free to pop across to my shop and see how I list them

a pic of our snow, I reckon itā€™s about 6-7 inches now on the flat but much deeper in the drifty bits, also snowing again and thereā€™s still an amber warning here for snow right through until 11am tomorrow

Afternoon everyone. Late posting as Iā€™ve been on weather/road watch. We had freezing rain this morning and now weā€™ve got snow which is supposed to last all day with it getting heavy at 5pm.

I live next to the M20 in Maidstone Kent and the motorway has been closed 6 times so far today due to accidents. My brother is currently living with us and he works in sevenoaks, all his routes home are blocked according to Google traffic.

Keeping in with the ice photos, I took this on Wednesday, the icicle is just longer than the top section of the window

And today itā€™s nearly the full length of the window

Stay safe everyone.

Thank you @paperchainsandbeads for letting me join in this month. I have to thank the lovely @SueTrevor for chanting to me and suggesting it.
@thedotterypotter hope you are feeling less worried now. I do worry about it myself, we are so in the sticks, in fact the village is cut off! I said to Hubby nobody needs to get out unless you need to get to the hospital several miles away. My worry is my 91 year old Dad living 7 miles away, coping!! Honestly all the phonecalls in our house at the moment is about if the new landlords at the pub are going to be open tonight or not, astonishing!!! There are some girls coming from Essex to stay in holiday home along the road this weekend, apparently they are the motorway, they may end up having a different stay in The Cotswolds!!
Mine today is

Still no snow here, I think itā€™s all being dumped on the hills to the east. Very cold and windy though. Lots of wheelie-bins blowing down the street causing a strange driving hazard!

Take care Pauline @PollysWares138 and everyone else

I have a sale to report please Max @paperchainsandbeads.

Iā€™m all set for my fair tomorrow - I think the shopping centre has already been paid and would not refund if the Fair was cancelled unless the Centre was actually closed, so I guess the organisers wouldnā€™t want to cancel otherwise they would be liable for any refunds to stallholders.

Staying at mumā€™s again so re-listing

Back to Autumn leaves as I have been struggling with something all day and didnā€™t finish . Nevermind will try again tomorrow
Still snowing here and very, very cold . Some pipes still frozen-the bathroom sink doesnā€™t drain and the water comes up into the bath! So just gentle washing going on  otherwise the bath will overflow :open_mouth:
I feel /fear for people without a roof over their head . I cant imagine how they cope . I was supposed to go and see a play tonight , but its been cancelled  The roads donā€™t look driveable though , so itā€™s a good job.
Hope all ok . Take care.

@PollysWares138 - hope your hip isnā€™t too sore tonight xx

9 sales to report please Max @paperchainsandbeads x

We all went out sledging this afternoon. The whole community was out and it was such a great atmosphere. I had so much fun but I am actually terrible at steering a sledge it turns out! People turned up to the hill with all sorts of things to slide down on - a washing basket, lilos, carrier bags, inflatable toys! One year we went and a little boy was using a wok to sit in and slide down the hill. The worst one, a few years ago now was when a group of teenagers were using a metal bath - that was so dangerous!
It took my mind off the worrying and I noticed that some of the major routes seemed to be gritted and I even saw a bus - so I think I can put my mind at rest that we could get to the Hospital if need be!

Hello

Been tucked up making all day with nothing photographed yet to show for it - but its all WIP

All is relatively calm and peaceful here - big snow drifts, and crunchy underfoot - village was completely cut off till 11.30 this morning with even the hardiest of farmers unable to get out on their enormous tractors - but thankfully they eventually managed to get out to feed the little lambs - and occasional 4 by 4 s on the main rd - durning the day but only sound now is the whistling of the windā€¦

My relistā€¦
