Folksy 365 - Daily Listing Challenge Thread - MAY 2018

(Max Pring) #1

Hello and welcome the Folksy 365 Daily Listing challenge and to all those taking part :). Joining in is super easy just:-

  • List your item and add your link, either just the URL copied and pasted or use the upload button to add a clickable picture.
  • Click on all of the links to view each other’s items, to ensure we all have good viewing figures
  • Promote in whatever way you can/are able to and use the #Folksy365 tag to help other members find you. Promotion of everyone else is not compulsory, but we do appreciate it, pin, blog, share, tweet, like, whatever you can do to get the word out about Folksy is great
  • Let us know when you have a Folksy sale, so we can celebrate and happy dance with you.
  • You must be prepared to join in regularly throughout the month - missing the odd day is fine and of course joining in for part month is fine also, we understand not everyone can be here very single day, but please do not ‘post and run’.

I will endeavour to keep a tally of the month’s sales. Please let me know if I miss any. Sorry! Only Folksy sales can be added to the tally but happy to hear about and celebrate outside successes with you.

Ooo look at me - first up on the new thread

Hoping May will be full of lovely sales and sunshine.

Not a terribly productive day yesterday - lack of focus - but maybe today will be better. I did manage to make this scarf though.

Good morning, tried to have a lie in this morning, bit of a bad night waking up several times, was tempted to get up at 4am as I was getting fed up but made myself lie there for a bit as I have this week off and did eventually nod back off, I’ve a headache now though, not sure it was worth it lol!

Anyway welcome to the May thread, wishing you all lots of lovely sales this month, last month was pretty quiet for me I didn’t even get a bill this month, though that’s not too unusual, had my average number of sales for April not not too concerned

(FlorenceAndMarie) #5

Good Morning May!

Hopefully filled with plenty of sunshine :sunny:

Hope you all have a good day!

Happy May everyone. I flipped over the calendar and have realised I’ll be going awol for a couple of days as I’m invigilating photography practicals - if I pick up any good tips I’ll let you know (if any of them are any good I might see if I can get them to take me some product shots at beer rates - anything to pick up some styling tips).

Sbould have sent this last week to the April thread but didn’t get to it. Had to drop out - am in Papworth awaiting bypass surgery after heart attack on my short break to Swaffham. I’ll be back but probably not before June.
Have a good month folks :+1:

(Sasha Garrett) #9

Oh no @thatenamelguy I hope you are back on your feet soon - my father in law is a regular at the Papworth (he has some sort of heart problem they find interesting) and speaks very highly of them so I’m sure you are in good hands.

Morning all, bright and breezy here this morning. Pinch punch …and all that.

Francis @thatenamelguy sending you very best wishes for your surgery, and hope you make a speedy recovery.

Just bustled daughter out the house for second part of her art exam, so fingers crossed for her. All the kids are a bit distracted though as there was a chap with an axe running around smashing up the town yesterday afternoon, and as far as we know he is still on the loose. The police do know who he is, so hopefully they found him over night.

(HeidiMeier) #14

Good morning everyone - it’s sunny here in Colchester so I am hoping for a productive day!

Thanks @MaxPringJewellery for running the thread, I’ve been very quiet on here recently but hoping to up the activity again. @thatenamelguy - hope you are feeling okay, a close family relation has jus been advised they need a heart bypass op too, lots of worry but a friend gave me a heart warming story about her father who has had the op, plus a hip replacement plus a knee op and a couple of years later he is running rings around her!

And here’s one of my new cards (I am enjoying some hand and ribbon embroidery as well as the free motion):

(Max Pring) #15

Oh my goodness Francis @thatenamelguy sending positive healing wishes your way and hope the surgery goes well and you have a swift recovery

(Pamela West) #16

Here is my latest listing

(Emma) #17

Good morning, Take care @thatenamelguy I do hope the surgery goes well!

@DeborahJonesJewellery We had several police cars shoot passed the house yesterday, I did think something serious must have happened and then I saw it on the news! Let’s hope he’s been found!

A pretty tea coaster for today xx

(Max Pring) #18

Heres @FlorenceAndMarie links

(Deborah Jones) #19

I thought they must have brought in Police from far and wide as there was a huge police presence in town until about 6pm. Just seen that they found him last night.

(carolinefrodsham) #20

Do take care Francis . Hope the surgery goes well and we see you back here very soon .
