Take it a WHOLE lot easier Claire @ClaireMortArtist but I am sure you know that now . Itās so difficult doing nothing and resting but needs must . At least you do actually feel good in yourself to want to do things . Can you read that book youāve been meaning to read for ages?? some gentle sketching in a good reclining position (that would be quite hard thinking about it ) take care anyway.

Sorry are you saying Iām not charging enough for postage? I suppose we all have to deside what service suit our own circumstances best.
Everything bar my cushions are small parcels and I pay for my postage online so get at least 10p discount. Iām minutes from my local PO and since Royal Mail have updated their system so I can see if a parcel had been delivered (without using signed for) I find that sufficient for my needs as well as keeping costs down for my customers.

The dentist was OK thanks everyone 
I had x-rays of my back teeth no problem (even though the other rubbish dentist said he couldnāt do it that far backā¦strange!) They have referred me to the hospital about my jaw as the dentist said there is a problem. I also have to have a filling in two weeks timeā¦that will be the real testā¦eeeeeek! Sarah @PhotoFairytales, I did embarrass myself a bit tbh and Mr DP always comes with me otherwise I would run awayā¦lol! My old dentist used to call him my bodyguard!
Jennifer @JenStarKnits you have to charge what you feel comfortable with. I have to take into account my trip to town and the cost of my packaging but all in all I seriously undercharge for my items and so people are still happy with the final price. I sometimes lose out on the postal charges but I suck that up myself.
If I use My Hermes then I am undercharging. and not charging at all for any packaging.
Sometimes people forget that it is postage and āpackagingā (P&P)ā¦but it is up to individuals what they charge and why. No one can decide for another person what they should ask and of course customers also have to decide what they are happy with.

Your stuff is fab @PhotoFairytales, hope that elusive sale happens for you soon. If itās any consolation, this month does seem to have been a poor month for many of us. I blame it on all the uncertainty over the āBā word, perhaps some people are reluctant to make non-essential spends. Hopefully it will be sorted soon. We can only hope.
My Minions sheep painting has sold on the dark side to an American buyer, but the card version is very much alive and kicking on Folksy! Note to self: must amend my international shipping rates on both sites now that the prices have gone up!

Iāve got one of my favourite paintings today. It wasnāt my favourite while I was doing itā¦ 10 years ago but I still remember the hatred of painting the strings, but itās still one of the pieces Iām most proud of
(ā¦really need to take a better photo of it on the fireplace though to give better scale, I just wanted to get it listed).

Good morning everyone! Son had his stitches and staples out yesterday! Yay! He has a post op consultation with his surgeon on Thursday, so fingers crossed. Still can only lay down or stand, no stilling allowed, but heās at least able to shower now.
