Good luck with the fayre Clare @clareyates. Make sure you have business cards or flyers on your stall with your Folksy shop details on them. Some people may not buy from you on the day but may want to browse your stock online later.

Oh my goodness Valerie @valerie! You poor thing. I hope the damage isn’t too severe and that you can get it sorted quickly. Sending you a hug. xx

I’ve managed to get here at a more reasonable time today. After the hare purse sold so quickly yesterday, I have another one today. This one is a smaller version. All loved and pinned.

Good morning everyone. Lots of lovely items here today yet again, you really are a talented bunch.

Oh Valerie hope you dry out soon. My neighbours had a leak from their washing machine pipes over night one night and they were clearing up for months after waiting for it to dry out.

Today I have 2 more relists, sorry but not feeling up to making new things at the moment, I may have a couple of knitted items and some Christmas things next week though.

A knitted duffle coat and a jewellery set.

Caught up to here.
So sorry to her about your flood @valerie. Hope you recover from it asap. We have had so much rain. Wish I was back in Crete (see below).
Good luck at the fayre @clareyates. As Helen @PocketfulCreations says, take plenty of cards and flyers linking to your Folksy shop. I’ve picked up several commissions that way, so even if it feels quiet on the day (I hope it won’t) , you may well be sowing the seeds for future business.
A new listing today, the beautiful old harbourside at Chania, Crete at dusk, casting a lovely red hue, in pen and wash.

Good afternoon everyone

So sorry to hear about your flood Valerie @valerie - I really hope that you are able to sort it all out quickly xx

I had two separate dreams about floods last night. One was that I was told by a policewoman that my two boys had been swept out to sea by the storms (in actual fact they had just been up the arcades playing games!)
The second dream was me coming up to a junction at traffic lights and realising that the sea level had risen so much, that the sea was encroaching my route and I was hoping I hadn’t flooded my engine and hoping that I could turn around.
I also dreamt about stepping on the red riding hood cape of a French woman as I descended a massive amount of steps - I said “ooh, pardon me” to her but then I realised that I should have said “pardonnez moi”!

Anyway…I do waffle on don’t I?
11 items sold yesterday to add to the tally please Natalie @NOfkantsCurios x

Gosh, the dream about your sons possibly being swept away must have been terrifying, or should I say “ terrifiant” in an awful French accent!

Well done on your 11 sales though! Happy dancing!

Hopefully not! If they do you can always try to say you don’t believe in God and therefore it can’t possibly be an act of someone how doesn’t exsist!

Afternoon all,

It’s been another day of either being deafened by the rain or blinded by the sun in my conservatory today! At least I’ve finally managed to get the camera out so I have a new item for you today.

Another Christmas Tree!

Hoping for a glimpse of this fabled sales fairy as I have a craft fair tomorrow.

Have a good weekend all,

Cheers
Lou
